Filipino Viands For A Special Despedida

Just wanted to share the food that we served for my sister's despedida yesterday. My Kuya asked what she wanted to eat -- something that she wouldn't be able to eat or order in the US. And what was requested from last night was some crispy Lechon Kawali and some Garden Fresh Salad. My other brother also cooked some Bistek Tagalog as an additional viand.

Anyway, here's some of his homemade creations. *NOTE: Mouthwatering photos ahead of you -- make sure your eyes are wide open and not your mouths! hahaha!*

Crispy Lechon Kawali -- Fried to perfection!
Bistek Tagalog with fresh onion slices
Garden Salad Ingredients: White onion slices, Tomatoes, Sweet Corn and Bacon bits

Garden Salad Ingredients: Carrots and Lola Rosa Lettuce
Garden Salad Ingredients: Cucumber, Pineapple, Green & Red Bellpepper and Lettuce
As much as I loved eating all of these meat and veggies for last night's dinner, I will definitely miss the one who we had this despedida for. Eventhough my sister will only be gone for a month, her presence will still be missed.
